RHCML toolkit

A toolkit is a list of resources designed to facilitate access to information on a particular topic. It may be useful for education, research and patient care. A toolkit does not include every resource that would be retrieved in a comprehensive search; it is a starting point for appropriate resources related to a topic.

Health topics

AIDS
AIDS health info, drugs, clinical trials etc.  

Cancer.gov
Information for health professionals, consumers, patients.  

Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
Public health topics such as obesity, diabetes, asthma.
National health objectives and health indicators to measure health and prevent disease(s) in the future.
Institute of Medicine, Washington, D.C.

Part of the National Academy of Science, the Institute of Medicine provides "unbiased, evidencebased, and authoritative information and advice concerning health and science policy to policymakers, professionals, leaders in every sector of society, and the public at large,".

Minority Health
Health of Minority Women, including National Women's Health Indicators Database, comparative data for counties in all 50 states.

Office of Minority Health
National resource and referral service on minority health issues; substance abuse, cancer, heart disease, violence, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, infant mortality.
